When we see our selves in reflection, we see our true selves. The outward appearance is merely a thin cover, only those with pure hearts will shine above the rest.
And God is the only king and father who can purify us...and raise us to be His heir. He gives us beauty in form and spirit, and this beauty reflects the essence of God.
